Doug Meadows has been active in the Life and Financial Services World for almost 35 years. He began his career with the Travelers Insurance Company assisting Independent Insurance Agencies with their client's Life Insurance needs. Over the next few years, Doug became the Regional Sales Director for the South Eastern United States responsible for all sales, marketing and distribution for seven states.
In 1997 he joined Tom Murfee to form Murfee Meadows still with a focus for providing Independent Agents with brokerage services for their Life and Financial Services clients. In 2013 Murfee Meadows became a partner with AimcoR, a National Brokerage General Agency. This partnership gave Murfee Meadows additional services to offer their producers and brokers while giving them a national footprint.
Doug's 30+ years of experience has given him skills and expertise in the Business and Estate planning arena which includes "point of sale" and consulting services. His very competent staff specializes in providing their partners with tools necessary to create custom solutions to address their client's specific, individual needs.
Doug is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He and his wife, Teresa make their home in Hoover, Alabama.
